Mason Sharp

Mason Sharp is the original architect of GridSQL, EnterpriseDB's business intelligence and data warehousing solution. GridSQL is fully integrated with EnterpriseDB's Postgres Plus and Postgres Plus Advanced Server databases and also works with the community-based PostgreSQL project. Using GridSQL, database performance scales nearly linearly as additional servers are added to the grid. Mason is employed by EnterpriseDB as a Senior Architect.

Korry Douglas

Korry Douglas is author of PostgreSQL, published by Sams, which details the internals of the PostgreSQL database. Working with so many different database products (Oracle, Sybase, SQL Server, DB2, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MSQL) has given him a broad understanding of the commonalities of, and differences between, databases. Korry is also employed by EnterpriseDB as a Senior Database Architect.

Pavan Deolasee

Pavan Deolasee works on PostgreSQL database internals, mostly in the areas of performance enhancements of the database engine. He worked on one of the most significant features of PostgreSQL 8.3 release called HOT, and is employed by EnterpriseDB as a lead engineer.

Nikhil Sontakke

Nikhil Sontakke is actively involved in the Postgres community, and has submitted patches for features in both 8.3 and 8.4 releases. Nikhil helped in the initial prototyping and performance measurement of the HOT feature and did the initial groundwork for the ongoing "Automatic Partitioning" work. Nikhil is employed by EnterpriseDB as a lead engineer.
