Marketing Programs Coordinator
Marketing / Location: Westford, MA, United States

EnterpriseDB is looking for a marketing programs coordinator to support rapid business growth. The ideal candidate will be a highly energetic, creative, hands-on marketing coordinator with some experience managing and tracking direct response campaigns, social medial campaigns and event planning. This is a role that will be expected to contribute by driving a volume of qualified leads sufficient to meet or exceed key marketing performance metrics. S/he will be required to execute and track marketing campaigns and will work closely with sales to continuously refine lead generation programs based on performance.

Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the marketing programs coordinator will be responsible for the following:

• Managing marketing programs that include events, online lead generation programs, direct mailing/emailing campaigns and sponsorships
• Tracking, evaluating, and recommending event opportunities to align marketing programs strategy with the goals of sales and business development.
• Coordination of web seminars including scheduling and hosting on Webex, coordination of speaker presentations, and post-event delivery of leads and webinar archive for follow-up.
• Driving meetings and preparing materials for pre- & post-event planning and follow-up and creation of associated documents (event briefs, staffing schedule, budget reports and inventory checklists.)
• Coordinating all trade show exhibition elements (Signage, AV, Shipping, Set-up/Tear-down, etc.) including vendor management and contract negotiations.
• Extending promotion of events, company news and marketing programs via social media - Twitter, Linked-In, Facebook, etc.

Requirements

• 2-3 years experience in marketing
• Strong organizational and project management skills with ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and work with cross-functional teams
• Ability to "hit the ground running" and quickly establish credibility with internal clients and external vendors
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in all MS Office applications
• Experience with Salesforce.com, Webex and Eloqua a plus
• BS or BA required
• Some travel required

Database Consultant
Location: Westford MA preferred, but willing to let the right candidate work out of a home office any where in the US or Canada

We are looking for a customer facing person who can work on site and remotely with clients to deliver EnterpriseDB technical services. The ideal candidate has a strong blend of people skills and an in depth knowledge of database deployments. In addition to delivering technical services, the person in this role will provide feedback to sales and sales engineering on new business opportunities. Job Responsibilities:

• Evaluate customer deployments of PostgreSQL, Postgres Plus and Postgres Plus Advanced Server and make recommendations on how to improve them.
• Ocassionally, deliver PostgreSQL Postgres Plus and Postgres Plus Advanced Serever courses over the web and on site.
• Perform database migrations from Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL to PostgreSQL
• Performance tune and make performance tuning recommendations to existing database deployments
• Set up High Availability configurations using PostgreSQL

A qualified candidate must:

• Have a Bachelor or Masters of Science in Computer Science/Computer Engineering or equivalent experience
• At least two years of DBA level experience for PostgreSQL or Oracle
• Be well versed in SQL
• Be familiar with database design and building applications for PostgreSQL, Oracle, or other databases
• General system administration and performance skills for Linux (Ubuntu, Centos, Redhat, or Debian)
• Must be a US citizen
• Must be able to travel up to 50%
• Have strong written and verbal communication skills

Experience in any of the following is highly desirable:

• Working directly with customers
• Have experience deploying open source software
• Working with virtual teams and from remote office locations
