Python

The PL/Python procedural language allows EDB Postgres Advanced Server users to create (and execute) functions written in Python within Advanced Server applications. The version of PL/Python used by Advanced Server is untrusted (plpython3u); it offers no restrictions on users to prevent potential security risks.

ODBC

The Microsoft .Net framework provides a Common Language Runtime (CLR) environment to ease the application development process, including ways to connect databases. One such way is ODBC (Open Database Connectivity). EnterpriseDB developed the EDB-ODBC interface to allow an ODBC compliant client application to connect to an EDB Postgres Advanced Server database when developing .Net programs.

.NET

The .NET Connector (compatible with .NET 4.0 and 4.5) provides connectivity between a .NET client application and EDB Postgres Advanced Server. This guide provides installation instructions, usage instructions, and examples that demonstrate the functionality of the .NET Connector.

OCI

The OCI connector provides an API similar to the Oracle Call Interface. Applications that are written to use the Oracle Call Interface may be recompiled using EnterpriseDB's OCI connector in order to interact with an EDB Postgres Advanced Server database server. This guide provides installation and usages information.

ECPG*Plus

EnterpriseDB has enhanced ECPG (the PostgreSQL pre-compiler) to create ECPG*Plus. ECPG*Plus allows you to include Pro*C compatible embedded SQL commands in C applications when connected to EDB Postgres Advanced Server. When you use ECPG*Plus to compile an application, the SQL code is syntax-checked and translated into C. The enhancement supports Oracle Dynamic SQL – Method 4 (ODS-M4), Pro*C compatible anonymous blocks and A CALL state compatible with Oracle databases.

EDB*Loader

EDB*Loader is a high-performance bulk data loader that provides an Oracle compatible interface for EDB Postgres Advanced Server. The EDB*Loader command line utility loads data from an input source, typically a file, into one or more tables using a subset of the parameters offered by Oracle SQL*Loader. The utility supports the conventional path, direct path and parallel direct path loading paths of Oracle SQL*Loader and has a range of configuration variables.
