Today we are announcing we have signed a new multi-year partnership with IBM. The announcement was unveiled at IBM’s Data and AI Forum 2019 event, which also outlined IBM’s vision for a complete Data and AI portfolio.

This new partnership will enable IBM, along with its affiliates and resellers, to package and resell EDB Postgres to their customers as a part of their integrated platform, IBM Data Management Platform for EDB Postgres Enterprise. This Platform is designed to meet the needs of organizations that are employing the popular Postgres database.  EDB Postgres gives IBM customers the scalability, security, and availability necessary for demanding enterprise database deployments.

Together with EnterpriseDB, the IBM Platform provides a rich data environment and set of extended capabilities that support deployment in both high availability production and cost-effective non-production environments.

Over its 30 year history, demand for Postgres has never been higher.  This expanded relationship builds on our long history of working with IBM and our shared vision of Postgres as the ideal data store for advanced analytics and other critical enterprise applications.
