10.41 USER_INDEXES

The USER_INDEXES view provides information about all indexes on tables that are owned by the current user.

Name

Type

Description

owner

TEXT

User name of the index’s owner.

index_schema

TEXT

Name of the schema in which the index belongs.

index_name

TEXT

The name of the index.

index_type

TEXT

The index type is always BTREE. Included for compatibility only.

table_owner

TEXT

User name of the owner of the indexed table.

table_name

TEXT

The name of the indexed table.

table_type

TEXT

Included for compatibility only. Currently, always set to TABLE.

uniqueness

TEXT

Indicates if the index is UNIQUE or NONUNIQUE.

compression

CHAR(1)

Always set to N (not compressed). Included for compatibility only.

tablespace_name

TEXT

Name of the tablespace in which the table resides if other than the default tablespace.

logging

TEXT

Included for compatibility only. Currently always set to LOGGING.

status

TEXT

Whether or not the state of the object is valid. (VALID or INVALID).

partitioned

CHAR(3)

Indicates that the index is partitioned. Currently, always set to NO.

temporary

CHAR(1)

Indicates that an index is on a temporary table. Currently, always set to N.

secondary

CHAR(1)

Included for compatibility only. Currently always set to N.

join_index

CHAR(3)

Included for compatibility only. Currently always set to NO.

dropped

CHAR(3)

Included for compatibility only. Currently always set to NO.
