10.52 USER_VIEW_COLUMNS

The USER_VIEW_COLUMNS view provides information about all columns in views owned by the current user.

Owner

VARCHAR2

User name of the view’s owner.

schemaname

VARCHAR2

Name of the schema in which the view belongs.

view_name

VARCHAR2

Name of the view.

column_name

VARCHAR2

Name of the column.

data_type

VARCHAR2

Data type of the column.

data_length

INTEGER

Length of text columns.

data_precision

INTEGER

Precision (number of digits) for NUMBER columns.

data_scale

INTEGER

Scale of NUMBER columns.

column_id

INTEGER

Relative position of the column within the view.

nullable

CHARACTER

Whether or not the column is nullable – possible values are: Y – column is nullable; N – column does not allow null.

data_default

VARCHAR2

Default value assigned to the column.
