3.3 Registering Your xDB Replication Server Product
Certain features of xDB Replication Server require you to register your xDB Replication Server product. Currently, full usage of the multi-master replication feature following a trial period requires product registration.
Note: Following expiration of the trial period, xDB Replication Server operates in restricted mode, which limits certain operations. See Section 9.4.7 for details on restricted mode operation.
The current status of your trial period can be seen in the bottom right-hand corner of the xDB Replication Console by selecting a publication server running under the instance of the xDB Replication Server product for which you want to see the status.

Register your xDB Replication Server product by entering your Enterprise DB product license key at any time before or after the trial period ends. Enter the license key by using the xDB Replication Console.
After you enter your license key, the registration status of your xDB Replication Server product is updated.
The following are the steps to enter your license key.
Step 1: A publication server must be registered and running under the xDB Replication Server installation for which you want to supply the license key. See steps 1 through 3 of Section 5.2.1 for directions on starting and registering a publication server if you have not already done so.
Step 2: Select the Publication Server node. From the Help menu, choose Register xDB (MMR). The Product Registration dialog box appears.
