Am I Eligible for a Badge?

When and How Can I Claim my Badge?
How Do I Share My Badge?
Claiming your EDB Postgres badge is very simple. After you’ve achieved a certification by passing an exam, you receive an automated email from EnterpriseDB with details on your score, with a printable certificate attached. In addition, you will receive a second, automated e-mail notification from Acclaim, with instructions on how to claim and share your badge.
The basic steps to claim your badge are:
- Click the link in your Acclaim email notification to create an account on Acclaim (if you do not already have one)
- Acclaim then sends you a confirmation email with a link to confirm your account and claim your badge

What is required to Pass the Certification Exam?
Most exams have pre-requisite training courses and are rigorous, so hands-on experience and experience in the field is recommended.

I have earned multiple Postgres badges. Do I need to claim every badge that I am issued?
You will receive an e-mail notification for each badge that you earn, however you do not need to manually claim every badge. You can adjust the settings in your Acclaim account to automatically accept badges issued to you.
Are there Unique Badges for Partners?
Individuals at EDB Partner organizations who have successfully passed any of our certification exams, version 9.3 or higher, will be issued digital badges and will receive e-mail notifications from Acclaim with information on how to accept them. We are also in the process of developing special badge identifiers for EDB Certified Instructors and Certified Partners.
Do the Badges Expire?
Badges are issued for EDB certification exams based on version 9.3 and higher. They do not expire but you are encouraged to achieve the latest certification level with the latest software version in order to maximize your benefits.
Who can View my Badge?
Anyone who views your badge can select it to learn more about your skills and to verify its authenticity. EDB certification credentials are recognized, respected and valued globally in the industry, and sharing your badge enables you to communicate your achievements publicly and stand out.
What if I do not want my badge to be public?
You can easily configure your privacy settings in Acclaim. You’re in complete control of the information about yourself that is made public.
