Natalia Wojcik is a Senior Product Manager at EDB, focused on EDB Postgres Distributed (PGD) as of Q4 2023. Prior to working with the PGD team, Natalia worked on EDB BigAnimal, EDB's fully managed cloud database. She managed cross-cutting BigAnimal features and external integrations, working to incorporate existing EDB technologies into the BigAnimal cloud – including PGD. Prior to joining EDB, Natalia worked in consulting and product at a wide array of startups.

Release Radar: Increase Resilience with EDB Postgres Distributed on BigAnimal

In response to increasing regional data residency requirements, we have added a Cross-Cloud Service Provider (CSP) Witness feature for EDB Postgres Distributed on the fully managed EDB BigAnimal Postgres Database. As a result, we have enabled the ability to have a Witness Group “live” in a different CSP in either the “bring your own account” or BigAnimal-hosted deployment method.
