Ed Boyajian, President and Chief Executive Officer, EnterpriseDB

Since 2008, Ed has lead EDB around his vision to transform and disrupt the $34B relational database industry. Under his leadership, EnterpriseDB has become recognized as the leading Postgres database company with over 2700 customers worldwide. Ed's passion for technical product excellence and world class support and service has been the catalyst for delivering the industry leading Postgres Plus family of products now in use at many of the Fortune 500. These include the world's leading banks, telecommunications companies, stock exchanges, national governments, and leading software and hardware companies. The company also employs many of the brightest database and Postgres engineers in the world who deliver the support and services that customers routinely recognize as "best-in-class".

Before joining EnterpriseDB, Ed spent six years at Red Hat®, Inc., the world's leading open source solutions provider, serving as vice president and general manager of North America. Before that, he was vice president of Red Hat's global OEM business, responsible for all partnerships, including HP®, IBM®, and Dell®. During his time at Red Hat, Ed was instrumental in developing the foundational approaches for enterprise adoption of open source software.

Ed earned his MBA from Harvard Business School and his undergraduate degree from Boston University. He also served as a Captain in the US Army.

Paul Blondin, Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

Before joining EDB, Paul was Managing Partner of KickStart Partners, LLC, a business advisory group to Private Equity investors and CEOs. In the years prior to that, Paul has been an entrepreneur, having co-founded and led Pactolus Communication Software, which was sold in 2010. And he has been an experienced technology company executive, having held executive posts at IPHighway Ltd, Open Development Corp. and Cascade Communications Corp. Paul was President and CEO of the network security company Netect Ltd. until he engineered its sale in 1999. Previously Paul served as CEO & Chairman of the Board of Open Development Corporation, which was sold in 1997. Prior to that, he had been CFO of Cascade Communications Corp.  

Mike Huseman, Senior Vice President, Global Sales and Business Development

Prior to joining EnterpriseDB, Mike served as the Senior Vice President and Business Unit General Manager for the BPM Unit at OpenText. Before that, Mike served as the Vice President of Global Field Sales for HP Vertica and as the Global Executive Sales Leader for the BPM business unit of IBM’s WebSphere brand. Prior to joining IBM, Mike served in executive leadership roles in several privately held, fast growth technology companies. Mike received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Houston.

Marc Linster, Senior Vice President, Products and Services

Before joining EnterpriseDB, Marc spent almost four years at Polycom, the leading maker of video communications equipment, focusing on the Services Supply Chain, Business Intelligence, Customer Data Management and Cloud Solutions. Prior to Polycom, Marc led a supply chain consulting and systems integration company working with customers in the US, Canada, France, Germany and Switzerland. This tapped the expertise he developed at Avicon Group, where he spent six years, first as chief technology officer then as vice president of operations, developing an extensive background in management, business consulting, systems integration, data management and business intelligence. Marc holds a Ph.D. (Dr. rer. nat) in Computer Sciences from the University of Kaiserslautern in Germany.

Keith Alsheimer, Chief Marketing Officer

Prior to joining EnterpriseDB, Keith founded eSpendwise, Inc. in 2000 and served as its CEO until the business was sold in 2012. A java-based application company, eSpendwise relied upon EnterpriseDB products to provide multi-location, global businesses with indirect-spend management systems under a SaaS business model. Previously, Keith was Vice President of Marketing for a chemical manufacturing company where he pioneered the use of web-based software systems to dramatically transform sales and fulfillment operations. Keith also served as a Captain in the US Army where he held multiple positions of leadership and command.

Lenley Hensarling, Senior Vice President, Product Management and Strategy

Lenley has more than two decades of experience driving products in large enterprise technology organizations. Most recently, he worked as a consultant for early stage companies, venture capitalists and private equity. Prior to that, Lenley worked at Oracle for five years as the Group Vice President and General Manager for the JD Edwards ERP business, joining the company through Oracle’s acquisition of PeopleSoft. He joined PeopleSoft through its merger with JD Edwards. Lenley was a Group Vice President at JD Edwards responsible for product management. Lenley started his career as a software engineer, eventually working his way to Vice President of Engineering at Novell. Lenley received his bachelor’s in economics from the University of Texas at Austin.
