MD THINK is an innovative, cloud-based platform that allows multiple state agencies to share and manage data in one convenient place. The State expects significant cost savings via the consolidation of application hosting and data center services.
The State of Maryland uses EDB Postgres Advanced Server for a multi-model Database as a Service (DBaaS) offering for state agencies who are interested in leveraging the robustness of PostgreSQL across on-premises, cloud, or hybrid deployments. EDB provides a similar DBaaS offering to major global cloud providers, including IBM and Alibaba.
