Browsing activity v1

Use the Activity page to audit everything AI agents did on a cluster. Open a cluster from the home page, then select Activity in the sidebar. See Reading the cluster dashboard for how to get there.

Each row is one group of agent work. What a group is depends on the source:

  • aidb database — A session, connection, conversation, or trace, whichever identifier aidb recorded for the call. The Type column says which.
  • HM or Loki source — An Airman MCP session: all the SQL statements an agent executed within one MCP session.

Using the activity table

Use the page numbers, Previous, and Next below the table to move between pages. The newest activity comes first, and the table shows five rows per page.

Selecting a row opens a details panel on the right with a summary of that row. The first row is selected when the page opens. Use the Toggle details panel button in the toolbar to show or hide the panel, or press Esc to close it. To open the full view of a session, select its identifier, or select View Full Details in the details panel. See Inspecting a session.

Reading the columns for an aidb database

Read these columns to identify each group of agent work in an aidb database:

ColumnDescription
TypeSession, connection, conversation, or trace.
IdentifierThe identifier of the group. Select it to open the session page.
OBO PrincipalThe user the agent acted on behalf of, when aidb recorded one.
User ContextAlways a dash: aidb doesn't record the application user context.
PurposeThe declared purpose of the agent.
AgentsThe agents that took part.
StepsThe number of recorded steps.
DecisionsA Denied badge with the count, when governance denied at least one action.
StartedWhen the first step was recorded.

The details panel adds Resolved From (the telemetry attribute the identifier came from, for example mcp.session.id), Duration, and the number of conversations, spans, agents, and approved and denied decisions.

Reading the columns for an HM or Loki source

Read these columns to identify each session from an HM or Loki source:

ColumnDescription
TypeAlways a session.
IdentifierThe Airman session identifier. Select it to open the session page.
PurposeThe declared purpose from the Airman MCP configuration.
StepsThe number of SQL statements executed.
Denied queriesStatements the database refused with an access denial.
ErrorsStatements that recorded an error.
StartedWhen the first statement was recorded.

The details panel adds Resolved From (application_name) and Last Activity.

Searching

Type in the Search... field in the toolbar to narrow the list as you type. For an aidb database, the search matches identifiers. For an HM or Loki source, it matches identifiers and purposes.

Filtering

Select the filter button in the toolbar to open the filters. The button shows when a filter is active.

For an aidb database:

FilterOptions
Telemetry recordedA Start date and End date, or one of Today, Last 7 days, and Last 30 days. Clear date range removes it.
AgentOne or more agents that reported telemetry.
Identifier typeSession, connection, conversation, or trace.
StatusOK, Error, or Denied.
Find by decision idEnter a decision ID from aidb and select Find decision to open the session that contains it.

Find by decision id appears only when the chart value bff.governanceDecisionsEnabled is true, which is the default.

For an HM or Loki source:

FilterOptions
PurposeAll purposes (the default, no filter applied), or one of the purposes present in the loaded sessions.
OutcomeAll outcomes, Denied, Errors, or No errors recorded.

Selecting an agent or purpose on the dashboard opens Activity with that filter already applied. For an HM or Loki source, the Purpose filter is also kept in the page address, so you can bookmark or share the filtered view.

If the list can't load, the page shows Failed to load activity, or one of the connection messages described in Connecting an aidb database — Troubleshooting, with a Retry button.
