| Security fix | This release includes the following upstream security fixes from PostgreSQL: CVE-2026-6464, CVE-2026-6469, CVE-2026-6470, CVE-2026-6471, CVE-2026-14662, CVE-2026-14663, CVE-2026-14664, CVE-2026-14666, CVE-2026-14668, CVE-2026-14669, CVE-2026-14670, CVE-2026-14672, CVE-2026-14673, CVE-2026-14677, CVE-2026-14679, CVE-2026-14680, CVE-2026-14681, CVE-2026-15741, CVE-2026-15742, CVE-2026-16238, CVE-2026-16239, CVE-2026-16241, CVE-2026-18024, CVE-2026-18408, and CVE-2026-19385. | |
| Bug fix | Fixed crashes in some ECPGPlus functions when called without any established connection. | |
| Bug fix | pg_dump/pg_dumpall --no-role-passwords no longer dumps edb_password_history, since it isn't needed when passwords aren't restored, and previously could fail for non-superuser dump users. | #40455 |
| Bug fix | Fixed pg_dumpall --no-role-passwords aborting with a missing-column error on back-branch clusters. Roles with EXEMPT ACCESS POLICY need it reapplied manually after such a restore. | #40455 |
| Bug fix | Added edb_max_tuple_size and edb_max_tuple_field_size GUCs to prevent memory allocation failures during logical replication by proactively capping tuple and field sizes. Both parameters default to INT_MAX for full backwards compatibility. | |
| Bug fix | Fixed pg_upgrade failing with heap OID value not set for compound triggers that declare composite types (TYPE ... IS RECORD). | #60581 |
| Bug fix | Fixed a startup memory issue affecting pg_stat_statements when data encryption (TDE) is enabled. Databases with encryption turned on and a large query-tracking history could see the server's memory usage climb after restart, sometimes making it impossible to open new connections. | #61580 |
