EnterpriseDB Names Jay Barrows Vice President of Sales
Former Red Hat Sales Executive to Drive EnterpriseDB's Global Sales Operations
METUCHEN, N.J., Feb. 10, 2009 - EnterpriseDB, the leading enterprise open source database company, today announced that it has named Jay Barrows as the company's vice president of sales. Prior to joining EnterpriseDB, Barrows was regional sales director at Red Hat (NYSE: RHT), where he was responsible for the northeastern U.S. and Canada territories. At Red Hat, Barrows directly managed inside and enterprise sales teams, as well as regionally focused architects and channel overlay teams. Previously, he was responsible for managing Red Hat's go-to-market and sales activities for the life sciences and healthcare vertical.
