Kevin Dallas
Kevin Dallas is responsible for all aspects of the EDB business globally. EDB is a Bain Capital and Great Hill Partners portfolio company. Kevin brings over three decades of experience driving digital innovation and growth at technology companies, most recently as CEO at Wind River, a TPG portfolio company. As CEO, Dallas accelerated the software company’s growth culminating in its $3.5 billion acquisition by Aptiv in 2022. Previously, Kevin spent nearly 25 years with Microsoft, where he most recently served as the corporate vice president for cloud and AI business development. Prior roles demonstrated his customer-focused approach to delivering advanced intelligent cloud and edge product innovation, and enabling customer digital transformation. Kevin is a recipient of the 2022 Gold Stevie Award, American Business Award, Entrepreneur of the Year, and the 2022 Globee Awards Gold Winner for Executive of the Year. Kevin currently serves as a director on the board of Align Technology, Inc. He holds a B.S.c. degree in electrical and electronic engineering from Staffordshire University, Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, England.
Chandler Hoisington
Chandler Hoisington is EDB’s Chief Product Officer. Chandler is responsible for product definition, vision, design and strategy, supporting a portfolio of Global 5000 customers. A software executive with nearly two decades of experience, Chandler thrives in leading highly technical and complex products and teams. As the former GM Kubernetes Hybrid & Edge for AWS, Chandler led key Kubernetes businesses for Amazon. Helping marque customers move business critical workloads to modern software platforms allowing them to improve reliability and time to market. Prior to AWS, Chandler was the SVP of Product and Engineering at D2iQ, formerly Mesosphere. While at D2iQ, an a16z and Khosla backed startup that has raised over $200 million, he led the strategy and execution to transition the company from a Mesos foundation to Kubernetes as the core offering. Before D2iQ he held the role of VP of Engineering for Risk Management Solutions, a 30+ year old enterprise leader in the catastrophe modeling space.


Jozef de Vries
Jozef de Vries leads product development for EDB across the on-premise and cloud portfolios. Prior to joining EDB, he spent nearly 15 years at IBM across a number of roles. Most recently he built out and led the IBM Cloud Database development organization via organic growth, mergers and acquisitions.
Leslie O’Neil
Leslie O’Neil is Vice President, Global Human Resources at EDB. Leslie oversees the strategic planning of EDB’s worldwide talent needs, as well as manages the supporting systems for human resources. Leslie is a 20-year human resources leader. Prior to joining EDB, she was Director of Human Resources at AppNeta. She spent almost seven years as a Human Resources Business Partner at Constant Contact during their high growth phase. Before that, Leslie was Senior HR Generalist at MBI and spent seven years as Employment Manager for Pioneer Investments. She also was an Assistant Director of Human Resources for Hyatt Hotels and Resorts. Leslie earned her BA from LeMoyne College.


Marc Linster
Marc Linster, Ph.D., is EDB’s Chief Technology Officer. Marc leads EDB's Office of the CTO, where he and his team of PostgreSQL experts work with key customers and strategic partners on providing strategic technical direction, visionary thought leadership, and leveraging key technology trends to drive business growth. Marc is committed to EDB being an innovation accelerator, providing architectural “know-how” to help customers take advantage of PostgreSQL and understand the art of the possible. Marc believes that open source is a key driver for digital transformation, and that customers greatly benefit when they partner with a company that can provide strategic guidance, customer-centric support, and timely resolutions to complex technical challenges. Marc has an extensive background in engineering, technology and consulting, with over 20 years of management experience. Before joining EDB, he spent four years at Polycom, the leading maker of video communications equipment, where he was a Senior Director, Engineering for Cloud and Hosted Solutions. Before Polycom, Marc was Co-founder and President of TriPoint Interactive, a global supply chain consulting and systems integration company. He spent six years at Avicon Group, first as CTO and then as Vice President of Operations. Marc holds a Ph.D. (Dr. rer. nat) in Computer Sciences from the University of Kaiserslautern in Germany.
Rich Kennelly
Rich Kennelly leads Cloud Sales and Marketing for EDB, focused on EDB BigAnimal, an enterprise-grade, fully managed Postgres Database-as-a-Service. He is an experienced cloud business, product, and technology leader with experience aligning product lines with market opportunity and driving businesses to higher growth and profitability. Experience with SaaS, Applications, Cloud, Security, Data, and IT. Prior to EDB, Rich held critical leadership positions at Akamai, Ipswich, Connotate, and Nortel.


Rob Feldman
Rob Feldman is EDB’s Chief Legal Officer. Rob is responsible for the worldwide legal and compliance functions. An experienced executive and lawyer, Rob builds high-performing legal teams to support growing technology companies in dynamic business and regulatory environments. Most recently, Rob led a 45-person legal team at Citrix Systems, Inc. as its General Counsel, including through its +$16 billion take-private transaction in 2022. Prior to Citrix, Rob spent more than a decade in private practice as a technology company litigator, focused in securities fraud defense, intellectual property disputes and government and internal investigations.
Sean Dolan
Sean Dolan is Chief Revenue Officer at EDB. In his role as CRO, Sean drives global alignment of all revenue-generating departments, Customer Success, Services and strategic partnerships and alliances to increase growth, value and alignment with EDB’s customers. A global technology executive with 30+ years of experience, Sean has a track record of growing complex SaaS, mobile, networking, and service businesses in the Americas, Europe and Asia. Prior to joining EDB, Sean occupied senior executive roles, including Americas SVP of sales at Qlik, President and CEO at Global Knowledge, EMEA GM and SVP at Juniper Networks, and President and APAC GM at Alcatel-Lucent. Sean earned his BBA from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and his MBA from NYU Stern School of Business.

Ed Boyajian
Ed served as EDB's CEO for 15 years, in addition to serving as President and Chairman of the Board of Directors. As CEO, he drove the development and execution of EDB’s strategic vision and growth in the database industry. He joined EDB in 2008, and steered the company through 54 consecutive quarters of growth, and a majority investment in the company from Bain Capital in 2022. Prior to that, he led EDB’s acquisition of 2ndQuadrant, which brought together the world’s top Postgres experts and positioned EDB as the largest dedicated provider of Postgres solutions and services worldwide. A veteran of the open source software movement, Ed is a seasoned enterprise software executive who emphasizes a technology-first business approach in order to lead the open source data movement. Prior to EDB, Ed served as Vice President and General Manager of North America at Red Hat, where he played a central leadership role in the development of the modern business model for bringing open source to enterprises. He is known for his passion, relentless energy, and strategic leadership. Prior to his business career, Ed honed his leadership skills as a Captain in the U.S. Army. He earned his MBA from Harvard Business School and BA from Boston University.
Chris Gaffney
Chris Gaffney is a co-founder of Great Hill Partners. He is responsible for transaction origination, investment policy, fundraising, investor relations and the general management of the firm. His investment experience covers a broad group of industries, including business and IT software and services, information services, eCommerce, consumer and online services, financial services and insurance, digital publishing, telecommunications, logistics, education, and cable and broadcasting. Chris serves on the board of directors of EnterpriseDB, G/O Media, Ikon Science, Mission, Evolve IP and Intapp. He formerly served on the boards of All Web Leads, BuscaPé, Central Security Group, Credibility Corp., IGN Entertainment, Recruiting.com, SheKnows Media, SmartMail, Vitacost.com, Ziff Davis and ZoomInfo. Chris has participated in the private equity business since 1986, serving as an associate, principal and general partner for M/C Partners. Chris began his career as a commercial lending officer for the First National Bank of Boston in the specialized media lending unit. Chris earned a degree in accounting and economics summa cum laude from Boston College.
Colin Motley
Managing Director, Bain Capital Private Equity
Mr. Motley joined Bain Capital Private Equity in 2010. He is a Managing Director in the Technology Vertical and is a member of the North American Private Equity team. He focuses on investments in the infrastructure software, financial technology, and financial services space. Mr. Motley is also a Director at CentralSquare Technologies. Mr. Motley received an MBA from Harvard Business School, where he was a Baker Scholar and a Henry Ford II Scholar. He graduated magna cum laude with an AB in economics from Harvard College.
David Humphrey
Managing Director & Co-head North America Private Equity, Bain Capital
Mr. Humphrey joined Bain Capital in 2001. He is a Partner in the Technology, Media & Telecommunications Vertical and Co-Head of Bain Capital’s North American Private Equity business. Mr. Humphrey works in the Boston office and focuses on investments in the information services, software and technology services sectors. He has also played a leading role in the firm’s recruiting, training and professional development efforts.
Drew Loucks
Partner, Great Hill Partners
Drew is responsible for originating and evaluating investments in the Internet infrastructure, software communications, IOT, and tech-enabled managed services sectors. He is a director of EnterpriseDB, Examity, Mission, Evolve IP, Reward Gateway and Symmetry. He is a former director of Ascenty, Reflexis and Latisys. Prior to joining Great Hill Partners, Drew was an associate at Tudor Ventures, the $700 million private equity arm of Tudor Investment Corporation. As an associate at Tudor Ventures, Drew was responsible for originating and evaluating investment opportunities in the financial technology, business services, and software sectors. Prior to Tudor, Drew worked in various roles at Jefferies Investment Bank in the capital markets division. Drew earned a degree in economics and government from Bowdoin College and an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.
Max de Groen
Managing Director, Bain Capital
Max is a Partner on Bain Capital’s North America Private Equity team and is responsible for originating and evaluating investments in the Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, Horizontal Applications, Internet and EdTech sectors. He is a director of EnterpriseDB, ExtraHop, Nutanix, and Rocket Software. He was previously involved with a number of other Bain Capital investments including BMC Software, Symantec, and NortonLifeLock among others.
Prior to joining Bain Capital in 2010, Max was a consultant at the Boston Consulting Group, where he consulted in the technology, financial services, and healthcare practice areas. Max received an MBA from Harvard Business school where he was a Baker Scholar and graduated summa cum laude with a degree in Finance from the University of Minnesota.
Pablo Ramirez
Vice President, Great Hill Partners
Pablo joined Great Hill Partners in 2020, focused on the digital infrastructure and software sectors. He was previously with Alianza Fiduciaria and Parthenon-EY. He holds an MBA from The Wharton School of Business of the University of Pennsylvania, and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with Highest Honors from Georgia Institute of Technology.
