PostgreSQL Community Leader and EnterpriseDB Senior Architect Bruce Momjian to Teach Database Theory Course at Drexel University
Students to Use PostgreSQL for Learning SQL, Homework, and Projects
WESTFORD, Mass., June 30, 2009 - EnterpriseDB, the leading enterprise open source database company, today announced that Bruce Momjian, senior database architect, EnterpriseDB, and leader of the PostgreSQL open source community, has joined Drexel University as an adjunct professor to teach a course called .Database Theory.. Course content will include set theory, SQL, data model design, and real-world database usage, and students will use exclusively PostgreSQL for homework, projects, and for learning SQL. The class is a combined graduate/undergraduate course and will be taught both on-campus and online. Classes began June 23 and will be held for ten weeks.
