PostgreSQL Community Leaders to Highlight Best Practices for Popular Open Source Database
WESTFORD, Mass. – October 28, 2010 - EnterpriseDB, the largest independent PostgreSQL open source database company, today announced that many of the speaking sessions at PG West, the industry’s largest PostgreSQL conference, will discuss best practices for enterprise adoption of scalable database technologies. - NoSQL and PostgreSQL: Complimentary Workflows – This talk will focus on how PostgreSQL can be used to surface features not available in batch job, Hadoop-/NoSQL architectures.
- MySQL: The elephant in the room – This session will compare MySQL and PostgreSQL from a technical and administrative standpoint and address Oracle’s impact on MySQL.
