The EDB GlobalConnect Technology Partner Program is pleased to announce that we have certified Cohesity DataProtect for PostgreSQL as a backup and restore solution to help customers protect the data in their EDB Postgres Advanced Server databases. Customers are now able to take advantage of Cohesity’s native integration with PostgreSQL, allowing them to backup and restore an instance of EDB Postgres Advanced Server whenever needed.
Cohesity DataProtect for PostgreSQL is a backup and recovery service that is part of the Cohesity Data Cloud. As a converged, software-defined solution, Cohesity DataProtect simplifies data protection by eliminating multiple legacy point products, including backup software, master and media services, target storage and cloud gateways–providing comparable functionality on a single scale-out solution. You get essential backup and recovery capabilities including policy-based automation of protection jobs and visibility through a global control plane.
You can also keep track of your data by utilizing Cohesity’s global and metadata search capability to instantly locate the data that you are looking for across your environment, and the mobility of your data to the public cloud for archive and long-term retention.
