Anil Kumar is Head of Product Management at EDB and a strategic enterprise data platform leader across cloud-native technologies, distributed systems, and NoSQL databases. He leads EDB's Postgres Data & AI Platform, including enterprise Postgres offerings, Postgres Distributed (PGD), and cloud-native Kubernetes services such as CloudNativePG (CNPG), as well as Vector Engine, AIDB, and emerging AI-adjacent workloads. He has built highly available, scalable platforms at Microsoft, Axon, and Couchbase, and focuses on bridging modern distributed databases with AI-era workloads. Anil is active in the cloud-native community and is an award-winning author on Kubernetes.
