EnterpriseDB Launches Blade Partner Program
Sixteen Industry Leaders First to Provide Blades for EnterpriseDB Postgres Plus and Postgres Plus Advanced Server
EDISON, N.J., Apr. 29, 2008 - EnterpriseDB, the leading enterprise open source database company, today launched the EnterpriseDB Blade Partner Program and announced the first 16 companies to join the program. "Blade" is the term given to a technology solution that is complementary to or integrated with EnterpriseDB's Postgres Plus or Postgres Plus Advanced Server products. Blade partners will benefit from high visibility, new routes to market, and a wide range of co-marketing and business development opportunities with EnterpriseDB. Customers of the EnterpriseDB Blade solutions are assured of the products' interoperability and also benefit from well-defined, solution-based customer support. More information about the EnterpriseDB Blade Partner Program is available at https://www.enterprisedb.com/partners/programs.
EnterpriseDB Blade Partner Program Participation
Participation in the EnterpriseDB Blade Partner Program is limited to companies that meet three criteria. First, the Blade partner's product must pass accreditation testing to ensure seamless interoperability with the Postgres Plus products. Next, clear and reciprocal customer support processes must be established between EnterpriseDB and the Blade partner. Finally, joint marketing strategies, including reciprocal, high-visibility website presence and executive interview podcasts, must be set. EnterpriseDB will also provide each Blade partner with leads to prospects expressing interest in the partner's Blade. There is no fee for participating in the program.
"The EnterpriseDB Blade Partner Program makes it extremely easy for companies having complementary product offerings to partner with EnterpriseDB," said Bob Zurek, chief technology officer, EnterpriseDB. "The Blade program will also enable our mutual customers to deploy Blade solutions with confidence and to receive the highest-quality customer care."
