Cloud Migration Paths: Kubernetes, IaaS, or DBaaS IST

Moving to the cloud is hard, and moving Postgres databases to the cloud is even harder. Public cloud or private cloud? Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), or Platform as a Service (PaaS)?
